Sharing the Gospel with the Nones

Sharing the Gospel with the ‘Nones’

What do we do when our Gospel is no longer ‘good news’ to the unbelieving world?

Reaching the Spiritual But Not Religious (SBNR)

The fastest growing demographic in Canada today are the self-identified ‘Nones’, those non-affiliated with any religious or faith community. The ‘Nones’ aren’t hardened Atheists, rather, they are quite spiritual but no longer find traditional or contemporary Christianity to be believable.

Linda Mercadante has done over 200+ sociological interviews across the U.S. and Canada in order to understand the worldview, values, and beliefs of the Spiritual but not Religious. The results of her interviews are provocative.

This research is a clarion call for the Church to wake up and learn how to better engage this burgeoning and overlooked community with the Good News of Jesus.
